3、relesscommunicationsystemshasinvolvedprimarilyreceiveandtransmitantennapatterns,asmartantennacanuniformlineararrays(ULA).Differentalgorithmshavegreatlyreduceinterference,increasethesystemcapacity,beenproposedfortheestimationofthedirectionofarrivalsincreasepowerefficiencyaswellasreduceove
4、rall(DOAs)ofsignalsarrivingtothearrayandseveraladaptiveinfrastructurecosts.Here,theperformanceofsmartantennaswithuniformlineartechniqueshavebeenexaminedfortheshapingofthearrays(ULA),uniformcirculararrays(UCA)anduniformradiationpatternunderdifferentconstraintsimposedbytherectangulararrays
