4、intstoaverylargetenceandtostudytheirproperties.Thesearchfortheamountofdarkmatterinclusters.Galaxyclustersgravi-darkmatterintheuniverserepresentsanarchetypaltationallylensthelightemittedbyquasarsand?eldgal-casestudyofsuchaprocess.Ittooknearly60yearsfromaxie
5、sinthebackground.Themappingofthemassdis-the?rstevidence(Zwicki,1933)forastronomerstotributionthroughthemanyarcletsseeninanumberofreachaconsensusthatthereisadarkcomponentwhichclustersindicatespotentialwellsqualitativelysimilartodominatesgravitybutcannotbese
6、en,asitneitheremitsthoseobservedwiththetwoothermethods.Thesedarknorabsorbslight.AsexplainedinSec.II,thedebatehasmatterdensityestimatesarecon?rmedbythecombina-nowshiftedtooneaboutitsnature,inparticulartionofmeasurementsofthegasmassfractioninclusterswhetherd
