5、rovidedagainstDretske’s(1981)attempttobaseasemanticnotionofinformationonideasfrominformationtheory.Thefunctionofvariousmeasuresofinformationcontentforquantumsystemsisex-ploredandtheapplicabilityoftheShannoninformationinthequantumcontextmain-tainedagainstthechallengeofBruknerand

6、Zeilinger(2001).Thephenomenonofquan-tumteleportationisthenexploredasacasestudyservingtoemphasizethevalueofrecognisingthelogicalstatusof‘information’asanabstractnoun:itisarguedthattheconceptualpuzzlesoftenassociatedwiththisphenomenonresultfromthefamiliarerrorofhypostatizinganabs
