5、ingcomprehensionproblems.InGoh’sarticle,hepointedout10listeningcomprehensionproblemswhichoccurredduringthecognitiveprocessingphasesofperception,parsingandutilization.InLiaoYan’sthesis,shedesignedaquestionnaireaboutstudents’listeningcomprehensionproblemsin
6、theruralhighschoolsofNanning,thecapitalofGuangxiZhangAutonomousRegion.Thenshealsopointedout10commonlisteningproblems.AmongtheproblemspointedbyGoh(1999)andLiaoYan(2007),thecommononesare:studentscannotrecognizethewordstheyhavelearned;theyquicklyforgetwhatth
7、eyheard;theyunderstandthewordsbutnottheintendmeaning;theycannotgetthekeyideaofthecontentandarenotfamiliarwiththecontentofthelisteningmaterialreferto;theyfeelthecontentofthematerialisdullandsoon.Someenlightenmentoflisteningteachingwasgivenbythesecommonlist
8、eningproblemsandtheirpossiblereasonsproposedbyGoh(1999)andLiaoYan(2007).Accordingtosuchenlightenment,Igivesomeimplicationsforlisteningteachingfrom3parts:thelackofvocabulary,thelimitationofbackgroundknowledgeandthene
