3、asvisiblyincorporated.Yetwemaygofurtherthanthisinsomeinstancesandproposethatthenatureoflocallandformsitselfbothattractedmonuments,providingmeaningfulordramaticsettings,andofferedaseriesofideaswhichplayedsomepartinin?uencingtheformofthosemonumentsthemselves.MonumentsandLandscapeinAt

4、lanticEuropegoessigni?cantlybeyondthelimitsoftheexistingdebatebyinvitingarchaeologistsfromdifferentcountrieswithintheAtlanticzonetoexaminetherelationshipbetweenlandscapefeaturesandprehistoricmonumentsintheirspecialistregions.Byplacingtheissuewithinabroaderregionalandintellectualcon
