3、onlyexistineverylanguage,mostgenderdifferencesinlanguageoriginatedfromdifferentsocialrolestheyplayed.Mostpeopleknowthatgenderdifferencesexistinbodylanguageandnonverbalbehaviors.However,genderdifferencesinfluencecommunicationinthebusinessworld.Menandwomentendtohavedistinctvariat

4、ionsinthesendingandreceivingofmessagesviabodylanguage.Someofthesedifferencesinclude:Womentypicallyaremoreskilledthanmenatbothsendingandreceivingnonverbalmessages.Theytendtousebodylanguagebothconsciouslyandunconsciouslytoestablishrapport,makejudgmentsabouttruthfulnessanddeceit,a

5、ndinfluenceothersinbothovertandverysubtleways.Theyalsotendtobebetteratspottingcontradictionsbetweenverbalandnonverbalmessages.Mentypicallyarelessskilledthanwomenatbothsendingandreceivingnonverbalmessages.Thisdoesnotmean,however,thatbodylanguageissomethingmendonotuseorunderstand
