3、trumenthistoryconsistsoffourstagesofdevelopment.Thefirststageisancienttimes(B.C6000—B.C1711).Accordingtounearthedobjectspresented,windinstruments’appearanceistheearliestsuchasthebonefluteswhichwereexcavatedfromNeolithicruinsinWuyangCounty,HenanProvinceandXun.Theboneflutewhic
4、hwasregardedastheoriginatorofflutewasmadefromanimalbonesonwhichregularroundholesweredrilled.AndXunisanegg-shapedwindinstrument,inthebeginningitwasmadefromstoneorbone,afterwardturnedclay.XunwasusedtobeginmusicintheConfucianshrineceremonyandafterQinandHanDynastymainlyusedinthe
5、ancientcourtmusic.Itstonecolorisdeepandresonant.Allegedlyit’soriginatedfromthelaborandactivitiesoftheHanChineseancestors,atfirstmaybeinordertohuntbirdsandanimalstheancestorsimitatedtheirsounds,alongwiththesocialprogressitevolvedintosimplemusicalinstrument,graduallyaddedthenu
6、mberofholes,anddevelopedintoamusicalinstrument.Thesecondstageispre-qinperiod(B.C711—B.C256).ThisisthefirstpeakofthedevelopmentofChina'smusicalinstrumenthistory,inthisperiodeightcategorieswhichwereusedtoclassifymusicalinstrumentsbymaterialsweresettled,eightcategoriesincludesi
7、lk,bamboo,wood,metal,clay,gourd,hide,andstone.Andpercussioninstrumentsstartedtoflourish,nowthemostinfluentialpercussioninstrumentisthechimesofmarquisyiofzeng.Thesechimesshowedourachievementincastingtechniqueofbronze,andmoreshowedthelevelofancientChinatemperament.Inthemeantim
