4、ckground,playsanimportantroleinsolvingtheoptimalpowerflowproblem.Accordingtotheanalysisoftheexistingoptimalpowerflowalgorithm,thispaperproposedusingimprovedparticleswarmoptimalpowerflowcalculation.Combiningparticleswarmoptimization(pso)algorithmandpe
5、naltyfunctiontodealwithoptimalpowerflowconstraints,sothatitcouldchangeintounconstrainedoptimizationproblem,whichsimplifiesthecomplicatedcalculation.Thisalgorithminaddressingtheproblemofoptimalpowerflowalgorithmissimpleandeasytoimplementandalsohasgood
6、convergence,fastcomputingspeed,thatcomparedwiththetraditionalalgorithmismoresuitableforthecomplexproblemofpowersystem.UsingMatlabtoprogrammingimprovedparticleswarmoptimization(pso)algorithmandthetraditionalNewtonmethod,andcalculatingseparatelytheopti
7、malsolutionofIEEE-30nodessystem,comparedtheresultsofbothalgorithms,soastobetterreflecttheadvantageofparticleswarmoptimization(pso)algorithminsolvingcomplexoptimizationproblems.PuttingforwardtheParticleswarmoptimization(pso)algorithmistheinnovationand
