3、heLPtag.Theoretically,themaximumreadingrangeofaCPtagCanbeimprovedgreatlywhenthereaderisalsoaCPtype(exhibitingthesamerotation).ThedesignforcircularpolarizationRFIDantennahasagreatsignificance.Basedonantennaandmicrowavecircuittheories,circularlypolarizedRFIDant
4、ennasarestudiedinthisdissertation.Themainacademiccontributionsaresummarizedasfollows.1)Basedontheradiationcharacteristicsofdipoleantenna,acircularpolarizedRFIDtagantennaisproposed.Byusinggroovingtechnology,twodipoleantennasCanachievesamelengthsandunequalembed
5、slots.Oneofdipoleshasequalrealandimaginarypartsofimpedance,whileanotherdipolehasthecomplex-conjugatedimpedance.Thusthedifferenceimpedanceangleofthedipolesis90。.Then,thecircularlypolarizedradiationisattained.Amodifiedinductivelycoupledloopisappliedfortheimpeda
6、ncematchbetweentheantennaandtag.Theequivlentcircuitsofinductivelyandcapacitivelycoupledfedareproposed.ThiscouplingfeedCanisolatetherealpartandimaginarypartoftheimpedance,whichmadetheantennadesignsimpler.Finally,thecircularpolarizedradiationandimpedancematchin
