2、sandoiltankersfacemajoraccident,oilspillwillcausedevastatingharmtooceanecologyandthenaturalenvironment.Itisnecessarytomakesuresomeimportantparameterssuchasthesizeofoilspillsandthetypeofoilspillsbeforewetreattothedisasters.Thereareseveralmethodsforoilsp
3、illdetection,mainlyincludingopticaldetectionandmicrowaveremotesensing.Microwaveremotesensingmethodisnotlimitedtoweatherconditions,andcanevenworkinthenight,hasbeenwidelyused.Seasurfacecapillary-gravitywavesplayamajorcontributiontomicrowavescattering.Whe
4、nseasurfaceiscoveredbyoilfilm,itcanbedampenedbythesurfacetensionofoilandreducesthescatteringofmicrowave.Itwillcausedarkareaintheradarimage.Thisisthetheoreticalbasisofmicrowaveremotesensingtodetectoilspills.Thispaperstudiestheoilspilldetectionbymeansofe
5、xperimentsandcarriesoutsometheoreticalanalysis.Thestudyreferstotheseaclutterunderdifferentconditions.ByusingtheMonteCarlomethod,wemodeltheroughseasurface.Byusingthewavespectrumtheroughseasurfacehasbeensimplified.Thentheexistingoilspillmodelshavebeenana
6、lyzedindepth.Finally,thispaperdesignedaseriesofindoorsimulationexperimentsandoutdoorscatteringexperimentswhichachievedcertainresults.Inlaboratoryexperiments,weuseddifferentwavelengthsofelectromagneticwaveswithdifferentpolarizationtomeasureoilsampleswit
7、hdifferentthicknessbydifferentwindspeedanddirection.Intheharborscatteringexperiments,weuseddifferentbandsofdifferentpolarizationofelectromagneticwavestomeasuretheseasurfaceatdifferentwindspeeds,andlaydieselsamplesonthesea,simulatedoilspillincaseofareal
