6、wasthreatened,heissaidtohavegougedout（挖出）hisowneyestoshowhispietyandsincerity.Themassiveconstructionprojectwasfinallycompletedbyhisdisciples（徒弟）90yearslater.Theconstructionresultedinsomuchstonebeingremovedfromthecliffanddepositedintotheriverbelowthatthecurrentswerealteredbyth
7、estatue,makingthewaterssafeforpassingshipsasthemonkhadhoped.ThearchitecturalartistryThereare1,021bunsintheBuddha‘shair.Thesehavebeenskillfullyembedded（嵌入）inthehead.Theskillissowonderfulthatthe1,021bunsseemintegraltothewhole.Anotherarchitecturalartistryisthedrainage（排水）system.
