3、cationtechnologyprovidesanadvancedinformationtechnologyplatform.Itmakesthepowertoreal-timesupervisoryandcontrolwithlargearea.Theaimofthispaperistostudythemethodofsynchronizedphasormeasurementandplacementofphasormeasurementunit,becausephasormeasurementun

4、it(PMU)isanimportantcomponentinthewideareameasurementsystem(WAMS).InthisthesisthesignificanceandprogressofsynchronizedphasormeasurementbasedonGPSareintroducedatfirst,anditsapplicationinthepowersystemispresentedatthesametime.Thenthezero-crossingdetection

5、methodandtheDFTalgorithmadoptedinthephasormeasurementarediscussedindetail.Tominimizetheerrors,somenovelmethodsareincludedinthezero-crossingdetection.Toimprovemeasurementaccuracy,alsoadouble-ratesamplingmethodisproposed.OnerecursiveDFTalgorithmrequiringl

6、esscomputationalworkisinvestigated.Inordertoimprovetheaccuracyofthefrequencymeasurement,themeasurementerrors,whicharecausedbydecayingtheDCcomponent,thefrequencyvariationandetc,arediscussedindetail.Inthefaceoftheproblemssuchasfrequencyshift,harmonic,osci

7、llatingmovementandsoon,amethodbasedonquasi-synchronoussamplingandDFTalgorithmisproposedinthispapertotrackfrequencyandmeasurephase,byanalyzingvariousapproachesforthephasormeasurementwhicharebasedonsynchronizedsamplingorquasi-synchronoussampling.Intheproc

8、essofcalculatingfrequency,theDFTwhichcaneliminatedecayingDCcomponentandlinearinterpolationmethodareusedtocalculatetheestimatedphasoratanytime,andtheiterationmethodisusedtofindoutthetwoestimatedphasorswhoseintervalisoneperiod.Then
