2、etthereisnoabsoluteparallelismwhenwetranslateChineseintoEnglishordotheopposite,whichisresultingfromthetwolanguagesbelongingtodifferentculturaltradition.So,goingonwithcomparisonbetweenthetwokindsofcultureandprobingintothedifferencesbetweenthetwolanguagesareverysignificanttothe
3、translatorsandthelanguagelearners.Inthelanguages,wordsandexpressionsarethemostactiveandthemostpositivesothatitisnecessaryforustopayattentiontoanalyzeandcomparetheculturalcontentscontainedinwordsandexpressions.Mainly,itisreflectedbythenon-equivalentphenomena,theculturalsetting
4、sandtheconceptsofwordsandexpressionsandsoon.Onthewhole,culturereferstotheentirewayoflifeofasociety.Somefollowingcausesthatresultinnon-equivalentphenomenaofEnglishandChineseare:1thedifferencesbetweenlifeexperience;2thedistinctworldviewoftheworldwidepeople;3thelanguagesandthecu
