3、esameadvantagesaretrueforcellularphones.AphonecanbemadesmallerandlighterusingLi-Ionbatterieswithoutsacrificingruntime.AsLi-Ionbatterycostscomedown,evenmoreapplicationswillswitchtothislighterandsmallertechnology.Markettrendsshowacontinualgrowthinallrechargeablebatterytype
4、sasconsumerscontinuetodemandtheconvenienceofportability.Marketdatafor1997showsthatapproximately200millioncellsofLi-Ionwillbeshipped,comparedto600millioncellsofNiMH.However,itisimportanttonotethatthreecellsofNiMHareequivalenttooneLi-Ioncellwhenpackagedintoabatterypack.Thu
