3、hefirm,thewayitoperatesandhowitcreatesvalueforitsstakeholders.”O(jiān)nthesurface,thisnotionappearstobesimilartothatofstrategy.Wepresentaconceptualframeworktoseparateandrelatebusinessmodelandstrategy.Businessmodel,weargue,isareflectionofthefirm’srealizedstrategy.Wefindt
4、hatinsimplecompetitivesituationsthereisaone-to-onemappingbetweenstrategyandbusinessmodel,whichmakesitdifficulttoseparatethetwonotions.Weshowthattheconceptsofstrategyandbusinessmodeldifferwhenthereareimportantcontingenciesuponwhichawell-designedstrategymustbebased.
