2、sesbutalsosupportstheexistenceofacross-overtransitionendingatacriticalendpoint(CEP).We?ndatoolargevariationindeterminationofthecoordinatesoftheCEPinthetemperature(T),baryonchemicalpotential(μB)planeand,therefore,itsidenti?cationinthecurrentheavy-ionexperimentsbecomesdebatable.Hereweuseanequationofst
3、ate(EOS)foradecon?nedQGPusingathermodynamicallyconsistentquasiparticlemodelinvolvingquarksandgluonshavingthermalmasses.Wefurtheruseathermodynamicallyconsistentexcludedvolumemodelforthehadrongas(HG)whichwasrecentlyproposedbyus.Usingtheseequationsofstate,a?rstorderdecon?ningphasetransitionisconstructe
4、dusingGibbs’criteria.Thisleadstoaninteresting?ndingthatthephasetransitionlineendsatacriticalpoint(CEP)beyondwhichacross-overregionexists.UsingourthermalHGmodel,weobtainachemicalfreezeoutcurveandwe?ndthattheCEPliesincloseproximitytothiscurveasproposedbysomeauthors.ThecoordinatesofCEParefoundtoliewith
