2、AbstractCrimpedsteelfiberswithlargediametersareoftenusedinconcreteasreinforcement.Suchlargediameterfibersareinexpensive,disperseeasilyanddonotundulyreducetheworkabilityofconcrete.However,duetotheirlargediameters,suchfibersalsotendtobeinefficientandthetoughnessoftheresultingfiberreinforcedconc
3、rete(FRC)tendstobelow.AnexperimentalprogramwascarriedouttoinvestigateifthetoughnessofFRCwithlargediametercrimpedfiberscanbeenhancedbyhybridizationwithsmallerdiametercrimpedfiberswhilemaintainingworkability,fiberdispersabilityandlowcost.Theresultsshowthatsuchhybridizationindeedisapromisingconc
