2、generation,alsocalledafterheat,afterglowordecayheat,wouldhavetobeextractedfromthesystem;otherwiseitwouldleadtofueldamage,steam-claddinginteractionleadingtohydrogengeneration,meltingorevenvaporizationofthecore.ItdependsonthedesignofthenuclearpowerplantasshowninFig.1,p
