2、yticalinvestigationforabaseline-freeimagingofadefectinplate-likestructuresusingthetime-reversalofLambwaves.Wefirstconsidertheflexuralwave(?0mode)propagationinaplatecontainingadefect,andreceptionandtimereversalprocessoftheoutputsignalatthereceiver.Thereceivedoutputsignal

3、isthencomposedoftwoparts:adirectlypropagatedwaveandascatteredwavefromthedefect.Thetimereversalofthesewavesrecoverstheoriginalinputsignal,andproducestwoadditionalsidebandsthatcontainthetime-of-flightinformationonthedefectlocation.Oneoftheside-bandsignalsisthenextractedas

4、apuredefectsignal.Adefectlocalizationimageisthenconstructedfromabeamformingtechniquebasedonthetime-frequencyanalysisofthesidebandsignalforeachtransducerpairinanetworkofsensors.Thesimulationresultsshowthattheproposedschemeenablestheaccurate,baseline-freeimagingofadefect.
