2、areprogramtoanalyzecontingenciesandtheirimpactonstaticvoltagestabilityinlargepowersystems.Thesuchaslossoftransmissionlines,generators,ortransformers,programsubstantiallyreducesthenumberofloadflowwillchangethenetworkconfigurationthatinturnwillshrinksimulationforcon

3、tingencyanalysisandvoltagestabilitystudiestheP-Vcurve[9,10]resultinginasmallerMWMfortheandisbasedontheimpactofthecontingencyontheload,andspecificsystemfailures.ForanidealconditionwhenthetheavailableMegaWattMargin(MWM).Theprogramsystemexperiencesnofailureandallofth

4、ecomponentsintheprovidesinitiallyarankingschemeforfirstandsecondlevelsystemareworkingproperly,thesystemiscapableofcontingenciesbycomparingtheirloadabilitywiththemaximumprovidingtheMaximumofMWM,referredtoMMWMinthisloadabilityofthesystem.Itthenmakesashortlistofimpor

5、tantpaper.Inareallarge-scalepowersystem,wenormallycontingenciesfordetailedanalysis.ContingenciesthatresultinaencountermanypossiblecontingenciesanddifferentlargerreductionofmaximumloadabilityareplacedinUnacceptableContingencyCategory,whereas,thecontingenciesconting

6、enciesmayhavedifferentimpactsonthesystempertainingtosmallerreductionareputinAcceptablestabilityandalsoitsloadingmarginMWM[11-13].ThemainContingencyCategory.ThecontingenciesfallinginbetweenreasonforlowvoltageprofileforsomecontingencyandacceptableandUnacceptablecate

7、goriesaretermedasSignificantthereforesmallerMWMistheinsufficientreactivepowerinContingenciesandareplacedinthirdcategory.Theproposedthevicinityofthelowvoltagebuses[14-16].TherearesomemethodistestedfirstbytheIEEE118-busTestSystem,andthenseverecontingencieswithverylo
