3、consistsofasequentialanalysisapproach,inwhichtheaprioriinformationabouttheinterferencesignalsisusedforthedetectionoftheFECG.Ourmethodisevaluatedonasetof20abdominalrecordingsfrompregnantwomenwithdifferentgestationalages.Itsperformanceintermsoffetalheartrate(FHR)detectionsuccessiscomparedw
4、iththatofindependentcomponentanalysis(ICA).TheresultsshowthatoursequentialestimationmethodoutperformsICAwithaFHRdetectionrateof85%versus60%ofICA.Thesuperiorperformanceofourmethodisespeciallyevidentinrecordingswithalowsignal-to-noiseratio(SNR).ThisindicatesthatourmethodismorerobustthanICA
