4、5wild-typestrainsreplicatedintheHRT-18lineofhumanrectaltumorcells,inducingcytopathicchangeswithcellfusion,whichwasenhancedbytrypsin.StrainL9replicatednoncytopathicallyinD2bovinefetalspleen(D2BFS)cells,dependingabsolutelyonthepresenceoftrypsinfortheactivationofc
5、ellfusion.D2BFScellswerenon-permissiveforallwild-typeBCVstrainseveninthepresenceoftrypsin.StrainL9producedplaquesinHRT-18clones,buttheeaseofplaqueformationandplaquemorphologywerehost-celldependent.Wild-typeBCVwasalsodependedonthetypeofHRThostcellforplaqueformat
