3、auseofpoorhealth.Atautopsy,theliver,spleen,andmesentericlymphnodewereenlarged,andwhitefociwereobservedontheoutersurfaceoftheliver.Theoutersurfaceofthemesentericlymphnodewasdarkred.Histologically,granulomaswereobservedintheliver,spleen,bonemarrow,andlymphnodes,composedmainlyofaggregatede
4、pithelioidmacrophages,someofwhichwerepositivetoananti–felinecoronavirus(FCoV;Alphacoronavirus1)antibodyinimmunohistochemistry.Mesangioproliferativeglomerulonephritiswasobserved,andperiodicacid–Schiff-positivedepositswereobservedalongglomerularcapillarywalls.Thesedepositsstainedpaleredwi
5、thperiodicacid–methenaminesilverstainandredwithMassontrichromestain,andwerealsoobservedinthemesangialmatrix.Inaffectedglomeruli,glomerularcapillarywallsandmesangialareaswerepositiveforanti-ferretimmunoglobulinG.Byelectronmicroscopy,subepithelialandmesangialelectron-densedepositswereobse
