3、nimportantcomponentoftheMarshallPlanStatistics(BLS)roleintheaccomplishmentsofthewasthestatisticaltechnicalassistanceofferedbyMarshallPlan’sTechnicalAssistanceProgramhasBLSanddirectedatincreasingproductiveeffi-largelybeenignored.ThisarticlehighlightstheciencyandlaborproductivityinWesternEuro-BLS
4、achievementsintheMarshallPlan.peanindustry.Becauseofthespecialcircum-TheMarshallPlanwasnamedforthenSecre-stancescausedbythewarcrises,BLSeffortswid-taryofStateGeorgeC.Marshall,who,onJune5,enedtoincludeforeignassistance.Theseefforts1947,proposedhissolutiontowar-devastated“reachedalmosteveryplanti
5、neveryindustry,Europe.Theproposalwasenactedintolawinmarketingagency,andagriculturalentityinWest-April1948astheEuropeanRecoveryProgram,ernEurope,introducingthemtoatechnologywhichcreatedanEconomicCooperationAdmin-morethanagenerationinadvanceofwhattheyistrationAgencytoorganizeandadministerthewereu
