5、tainthelowtemperaturewarningindicatoratbootingstageinSouthChina，acontrolledexperimentwasconductedwithtwocultivars．Tianyou998andGuinongzhanatfourdailyminimumtemperaturelevels(18，16，14，and12℃。diurnaltemperaturerangeis4℃，nuturalairtemperatureasCK)withthreedurations(1，3，an
6、d5d)．Theresultsshowedthatunderthe1owtemperaturetreatmentduringthebootingstageofearly-seasonrice，SODandPODenzymeactivitiesofthesecondleaffromtopdecreased，MDAcontentinereased，SPADvalueandphotosyntheticratedeclined，thepercentageofpollenfertilityandspikelet—fertilizedrated
7、ecreased．Thenumberofgrainsperpanicle，seed—settingrate，and1000一grainweightdecreased，leadingtoareductioningrainyield．WhenT?≤16℃(3d)，thegrainyieldofTianyou998andGuinongzhansignificantlydecreased，aswellasdevelopmentprogressofgrainsandphotosynthesisofthesecondleaffromtop(P<
