4、large,andisgrowingrapidly.Inordertodelivercorrect-the-first-timeproductswithcomplexsystemrequirementsandtime-to-marketpressure,designverificationisvitalintheembeddedsystemdesignprocess.Apossiblechoiceforverificationistosimulatethesystembeingdesigned.Ifahigh-levelmodelforthesystemisused,simu
5、lationisfastbutmaynotbeaccurateenough,withalow-levelmodeltoomuchtimemayberequiredtoachievethedesiredlevelofconfidenceinthequalityoftheevaluation.Sincedebuggingofrealsystemshastotakeintoaccountthebehaviorofthetargetsystemaswellasitsenvironment,runtimeinformationisextremelyimportant.Therefore
