3、rtmobilityandflexibilityofnodesinanetwork.Especiallyinsensornetworks,ithasmanyadvantagestoreplacecableswithwirelesslogicallinks.Ontheotherhand,Bluetoothisgenerallyconsideredasapromisingshort-rangewirelesstechnologybecauseofitsinexpensivecost,lowpowerandsmallsize,andthusBluetoothhasbee
4、ngainingincreasinginterestfromvariousindustries.Fortheabovereasons,weadoptBluetoothtechnologyforawirelesssensornetworkwhichisdesignedforsecuritysystems.SinceBluetoothwillcontinuetobeafeaturefoundinmanydevices,itisworthwhiletoinvestigateitsuseinwirelesssensornetworks.Inthispaper,wedesc
5、ribeaBluetoothwirelesssensornetworkforsecuritysystems,whichincludestheimplementationissuesaboutsystemarchitecture,powermanagement,selfconfigurationofnetwork,androuting.WethinkthatthemethodsoralgorithmsdescribedinthispapercanbeeasilyappliedtootherembeddedBluetoothapplicationsforwireles
