6、ents.Radiocarbonanalysissuggestsadatingbetween5900and5700BC,ortheGreekMiddleNeolithicPeriod.ThefindsexcavatedfromBuildingIIIincludeobsidiantoolsandNeolithicRed-on-Whiteware,whicharebothcharacteristicoftheperiod.BuildingIIIisaspecialexistenceamongthesixMiddleNeoli
7、thicstructuresexcavatedfromHalaibecauseitisthebestpreserved,andalsowasinuseforprobablythelongestperiodoftime.BuildingIIIoverlappedinitsphaseofusewithtwoearlystructures,BuildingsIandII.Afterthesetwostructuresfelloutofuse,BuildingIIIwasleftstandingwhiletheywerebuil
