3、velopmentdescribedinthepaperbyLeeandBarber[Frictionallyexcitedthermoelasticinstabilityinautomotivediskbrakes.ASMEJournalofTribology1993;115:607–14]hasbeenexpandedinthepresentedwork.Specificattentionwasgiventothemodificationoftheirmodel,tocatchthefactthatthearclengtho
4、fpadsislessthanthecircumferenceofthedisc,andtothedevelopmentoftemperatureperturbationamplitudeintheearlystageofbreaking,whenpadsareinthefullcontactwiththedisc.Awayisproposedhowtotakeintoaccountbothoftheinitialnon-flatnessofthediscfrictionsurfaceandchangeoftheperturba
