5、eofthemostusedandresearchedpersonalitytests(Walsh&Betz,1995).The16PFwasoriginallyconstructedusingfactoranalysisofpersonalitydescriptionsobtainedfromprofessionalsintheUSA(Cattelletal.,1970).Sinceitwasfirstdeveloped,thetestdevelopershaverevisedthe16PFfivetimestoupdateconte
6、nt,norms,and/ortoimproveitspsychometricqualities.The5thEdition,releasedin1994(Conn&Rieke,1994),isthemostrecentrevision.Thisversioncontains16bipolarscalesandseveralvalidityscales.Fifteenofthebipolarscalesmeasurepersonalitytraitswhileonescalemeasurescognitiveabilityorreaso
