3、ewasbasedonfullchannelidentificationandrealizedusingRLSadaptivealgorithms,andtheotherwasbasedonthezero-delayMMSEequalizerandrealizedusingLMSandRLSadaptivealgorithms,respectively.Performanceofthethreeproposedalgorithmsandcomparisonwithtwoexistingzero-forcing(ZF)equa

5、tterperformanceunderalowSNR.1IntroductionTime-varyingcharacteristicandmulti-pathfadingofunderwateracousticchannelscaninducesevereintersymbolinterference(ISI)inhighdataratecommunicationsystems.Channelequalizationapplyingadaptivefiltersisoneofthetechniquestomitigatet
6、heeffectsofISI.Conventionally,theinitializationofanadaptivefilterisachievedbyaknowntrainingsequencefromatransmitterbeforedatatransmission,sothatvaluablechannelcapacityisreduced.Recently,blindequalizationtechnique(Stojanovic,1996)hasattractedmoreandmoreattention.Com
