4、icalproperties,butphononenergyistoohightodetecttheup—conversionluminescence.Oxyfluoridematerialsarecomposedoffluoridemicro-crystalwhichisinsertedintooxideglasshost.Rareearthionswereprioritydepositedintofluoridemicro-crystal,withlowerphononenergyenvironment.Becausetheoxidatewasdisper

5、sedinthematerial,oxyfluoridematerialshaveexcellentchemicalandmechanicalproperties,moreeasytobepreparedthanthefluorideglassesorcrystal.Sooxyfluoridematerialsarehighlydesirablematerialsforopticalamplification,up-conversionlasersanddisplaydevices.Inthepaper,aseriesoftransparentoxy-fluo

6、rideglass—ceramicsdopedwithEr3十waspreparedbysol-gelmethod,XRDpatternofthesampleindicatetheexistenceofLaF3micro·crystal.TheparticlediameterdatawasobtainedthroughScherrerEquationandSEM.Theup-conversionpropertiesandluminescencemechanismWasinvestigatedthroughtheanalysistoup-conversionsp

7、ectra.Thedataindicatethatup—conversionemissioninthesamplewith5wt%LaF3wasnotobserved,theluminescentdensityincreaseswiththeincreaseofErj+ionsconcentrationinthesamplewithlOwt%LaF3.buttheluminescentdensityreducedinthesampleofEr3+ionsconcentrationmorethan1%.thisreasonresultfromconcentrat
