6、nspiredbySchumpeter’swork,economicgeographersplayedaprominentroleincriticizingthisneo-classicalframework.Fromtheearly1980sonwards,theyfocusattentionontheexplanationofthegeographyofinnovation.Someregionsaremoreinnovativethanothers,andregion-specificcharacteristicslikeinstitutions
