4、Tcanoperateatawiderrangeoftransmissionratios,thereforetheenginecanbeoperatedmoreefficientlythanwithasteppedtransmission.Also,aCVTdoesnotinterruptthetorquetransmissionwhenshifting.Thisgivesamoresmoothridethanasteppedtransmissiondoes.AV-beltbasedContinuouslyVariabl

6、V-beltconsistsofblockswhichareheldtogetherbytworingsthatinturnexistofasetofbands.Toachievetorquetransmissionsufficientlyhighclampingforcelevelsareneededtopreventslipinthevariator.Becausethetorquelevelisnotexactlyknownatalltimes,sincenotorquesensorisusedduetocostc
