2、EvarietyandoptimizingnitrogenmanagementareregardedasimportantappachestoimproveNUEandreduceenvironmentalpollution.ThepresentstudyWasconductedunderpotconditionsusingfourricegenotypeswithdifferentNUE.HighNUEphenotypesincludeShanyou63,Liangyoupeijiu,andR16.LowNUEphenotypeisR158.Thestudyaimed
3、toelucidatetheresponseofsource—sinktraits,yieldanditscomponents,nitrogenaccumulationandtranslocation,nitrogenconcentrationsofplantparts,andtoexamtheirrelationshipwithNUEforgrainyieldfNtmg)andbiomassproduction(NUEb).ThedynamicchangesinNUEbduringvegetativegrowthstagewereexploredforfurtheru
4、nderstandingofhighNUE.Forquantificationoftheresponses,weestablishedalinearrelationshipbetweennitrogenconcentrationsandNUE.relatedtraits,whichfollowedlinearcurves,i.e.y:奴+b(ystandsforNUEorrelatedtraits,Xisnitrogenconcentration,andkistheslopeandrepresentsthedegreeofresponetonitrogenconcent
5、ration).Themainresultsareshowedasfollows:1.PlanttissuesnitrogenconcentrationshowedverycloserelationshipswithNUE,source—sinktraits,yieldanditscomponents,nitrogenaccumulationandtranslocationcharacteristicatpanicleinitiation(PI),heading(HD),andmaturity(MA),respectively.(1)Atthethreestages,n
6、itrogenconcentrationshowedsignificantlynegativecorrelationswithNUEonthebasisofgrainyield(YUE0andbiomass(NUEb),butsignificantlypositivecorrelationswithnitrogenaccumulationandtranslocation.(2)Atthethreestages,tissuesnitrogenconcentrationshowedasignificantlypositivecorrelation、訪廿lbiomassand
