3、ents;andonthemeta-discourselevel,eta-discoursereferstoeta-discourseisattractingmoreandmorelinguists’attention.Researchstudieshaveshoinentfeatureofvarioustypesofacademicdiscourse.Suchascasualconversation(Schriffrin,1980),schooltexts(Crismore,1989),sciencepopularizations(CrismoreandFarnsic
4、articles(Hyland,1998),doctoraldissertations(Bunton,199)andadvertisingslogansandheadlines(Furetes-Olivera,2001).Somestudiesalsoshoportantrolesitplaysinthesecondlanguagelearning,especiallyinthesecondlanguageple,Americannativeuniversitystudents’ericanandFinnishuniversitystudents(Crimoreetal
5、.1993).portantponentinEnglishteaching,andmanyscholarshavedonemanyresearchesonhoprovestudents’oreattentiontotherightuseofgrammar,vocabularyandtheideationaldimensionofethodsonlyemphasizesomespecificlanguageskillsunicationbetensionoftexts,orhoplyproducetextsthatrepresentanexternalreality,bu
