2、sesbyvariousscholarsandcriticstheworldover.Inthepastfourhundredyears,booksandessaysonShakespeareandhisworkshavekeptcomingoutinlargequantities.BenJonsononcewroteapersononcewroteapoemeulogizingShakespeareasbeing“notofanage,butforalltime”.Shakespeare’sgreatnessasaplaywrightandthesuccessofhi
3、splaysonthestagefromElizabethanEnglanduptothepresent-dayworldchieflydependuponhispenetratingexpositionofhumannature,hislivelypaintingsofhumanlifeandhistruthfulreflectionsofhumanreality.Hisworksprovideuswithavividandauthenticpanoramaofhisage.Allthis,forShakespeare,hasbeenachievedthroughhi
