2、lvetrafficproblems.ASthebasisforITS,anin—depthstudyoftrafficmodelisnecessary.Inmostoftheresearchinthepresent,thetrafficnetworkisasageneralgraphfortheabstractmodelofthenetwork,butthetrafficnetworkhasrichcharacteri8tic8,properties,andcomplexity(thelevelofroaddesignsp
3、eed,roadtrafficre8triction8tolimitdifferentregionalcharacterigtic8oftheroadnetworkplanning,etc.),conventionalgraphmodelcannotmeetthedemand.Atpresent,thedescriptionofthesetrafficinformation,arebindingonpointandthearc,thisapproachincreasethecomplexityofthenetworkmode
4、l,increasetheamountofdatamodel,reducestheefficiencyofthespacesearch,fundamentallyaffecttheoperationefficiencyofITS.TOsolvetheproblemdescribedabove,aroad—basedmodelispresented.Thismethodconcentratestheessentialcharacteri8ticgofroad,anddescribesthetrafficmodelasagrou
5、pofroadsandroadrelations.Basedontheroad-basedmodel,adatamodelsuitedtotheconceptualmodelisproposed,anddataredundancyisreducedbymergetrafficinfo.Apathsearchalgorithmbasedonroad-basedmodelispatented,usetherelationandtrafficattributesofroadtoachieveoptimalpath.Simulati
6、onexperimentsonstoragespaceandquerysupportareprocessedonroad-basedmodelonbothPALMandPCplatforminthelastofthisthesis.Theresultsshowthattheroad·ba8edmodelcanbeagoodde8crip七ionofactualtrafficnetwork;inadditiontothebetterstoragecostsitalsohasgoodplatformadaptability.An
