3、leroomforinnovationandprogress.Asanalternativeweanalyzecrisesasaprocessofincubationthatstartslongbeforethetriggeringevent.Thispropositionimpliesrevisitingotherrelatednotionsthathaveseldombeendiscussedbyauthors:?rstthestatusandplaceofthetriggeringeventthatshouldbeviewedbothasafaultlineandahi

4、ngebetweenadegenerativeorganizationalpastevolutionandafutureofchange;second,thetemporalityofacrisissoastoextractitfromtheurgencyitistraditionallyassociatedwith;thirdandcontrarytoauthorswhoseeinthecrisisacollapseofmeaningandofsensemaking,weanalyzeitasasurgeofmeaningthatfostersorganizationalc
