3、edmethodsfieldbyarticulatingthedevelopmentofthemixedmethodsfieldandbycitingcurrenttrendsandissues.Theroleofeducationalresearchersintheevolutionofmixedmethodsresearchishigh-lighted.Theearlyandongoingdialogueofmixedmethodsresearchismulti-disciplinaryinnaturewithcurrentwritingsacrossfields.Thecu
4、rrentdebateoverkeyaspectsofmixedmethodsresearchisnowinprogressandisripeforfuturecontributions.Eventheverynatureofwhatconstitutesmixedmethodsresearchisbeingdiscussedamongscholars.Understandingandadvancingthemixedmethodsfieldisanimportantgoalformethodologistsandresearchers.Withtheincreasedinter
