2、improvementsandeasy/costeffectiveavailabilityofsuchdevices,therehasbeengreatdemandfortrackingandnavigationsystemswhichdeployGPSreceiverstoestimatethecurrentlocationandtiminginformation.Suchsystems,whenintegratedwithcommunicationstandardssuchasGSM/GPRS,additionalsensorsandamastercontr
3、oller,resultintrackingsystemswhicharenowadaysusedextensivelyinanumberofapplicationscenarios.Inthisarticle,wewilldiscussonesuchutilityofthesesystemsinfleetmanagementsystemswhereinfleetownersmaykeeptrackoftheirvehicles’locationandstatusensuringsecurityandsafetyofthevehiclesandincreaset
4、hebusinessproductivitybybettercommunicationandtracking.UtilityofthesesystemsisfurtherincreasedwiththeintegrationofMEMSaccelerometersandgyroscopes,camerasensorsanddriverauthenticationsystemswhichcollectivelyimplementa“black-box”typeoffunctionalityandprovideanti-theft,vehiclecrashdetec
