3、ematerialsmustberoutinelydemonstratedtobefreefromcontaminantsbyrunninglaboratoryreagentblanks.Matrixinterferencesmaybecausedbycontaminantsthatarecoextractedfromthesample.Theextentofmatrixinterferenceswillvaryconsiderablyfromsampletosampledependinguponthenatureanddiversityofthewaterbeingsampled.3
4、.2Theflameionizationdetectorvariesconsiderablyinsensitivitywhencomparingaromaticsandhalogenatedmethanesandethanes.Halomethanesareapproximately20xlesssensitivethanaromaticsandhaloethanesapproximately10xlesssensitive.Low-molecular-weight,water-solublesolvents(e.g.,alcoholsandketones)willnotextract
