3、ourcontinuedexistenceandthatofmanyorganismswithwhichwesharetheplanet.Toensureasustainablefutureforourselvesandfuturegenerations,weneedtounderstandsomethingabouthowourworldworks,whatwearedoingtoit,andwhatwecandotoprotectandimproveit.EnvironmentandEnvironmentScienceEnvi

6、ntrasttomoretheoreticaldisciplines,environmentalscienceismission-oriented.Thatis,itseeksnew,valid,generalizableknowledgeaboutthenaturalworldandourimpactsonit,butobtainingthisinformationcreatesaresponsibilitytogetinvolvedintryingtodosomethingabouttheproblemswehavecreat
