4、cations,25(4),327^336ABSTRACTTheapplicationoftheimmunoperoxidase(IP)plaquestainingprocedure(IPtest)tothediagnosisofcaninecoronavirus(CCV)infectionwasinvestigated.TheIPtestdidnotreactwithserafromeither15speci￠cpathogen-free(SPF)dogsor7SPFdogsimmunizedwit
5、hamultivalentvaccine,includingcanineparvovirustype2,caninedistempervirus,canineadenovirustype2,andcanineparain￡uenzavirus.TocomparetheIPtestwiththeneutralizingtest(NT),serafrom240healthydogsandfrom3experimentallyCCV-infecteddogswereexamined.All60serapos
6、itiveforNTantibodywerepositiveforIPantibody,andall180seranegativeforNTantibodywerenegativeforIPantibodyinthehealthydogs.TheIPtitresshowedsimilarchangeswithtimeafterCCVinoculationtothoseoftheNTtitresintheexperimentallyinfecteddogs.These￠ndingsindicatetha
