2、dhands,wouldEnglish-speakingpeopleregardthisasproper?Thesearenotquestionsaboutlanguage,butaboutbodylanguage,aboutnonverbalcommunication.What’sthebodylanguage?Ithasthedefinitionsinbothnarrowandbroadsenses.Inthenarrowsense,bodylanguageincludesbodymovementandfacialexpression,whichcansendmessages.A
3、stothebroadone,itincludesgesture、posture、facialexpression、timbreofthespeaker、distancebetweenspeakerandlistener,andclothesofthespeaker(胡文仲1988.10.).Inmypointofview,bodylanguageshouldincludesfacialexpressions,bodymovements,andbodycontact.Inthesocialinteraction,whenweconversewithothers,wecommunica
4、tebymuchmorethanwords.Byourexpressions,gesturesandotherbodymovements,weconveymessagestotheotherpeople.Bodylanguageexistsineveryculture,butnotallbodylanguagesmeanthesamethingindifferentcultures.Differentpeopleshavedifferentwaysofmakingnonverbalcommunication.Theanswerstothequestionsofthispaperatt
