3、mentallanguage,paralanguageandobjectlanguage,whichhighlightstheimportanceofinterculturalnonverbalcommunicationandhelpstoachievesuccessininterculturalcommunication.Moreover,studyingnonverbalcommunicationisanessentialpartofforeignlanguageteaching.wecanknowingabouttherelationshipbetweenstudyofnonverb

5、tioncompetence；foreignlanguageteaching摘 要：在實(shí)際交際中，人們通常多注意語言行為的正確性，合適性和可接受性，卻往往忽略了非語言交際行為的文化差異及其影響，導(dǎo)致跨文化交際中的誤解和沖突頻頻發(fā)生。同時(shí)，非語言交際是人際交往中必不可少的組成部分，在跨文化交際中起著舉足輕重的作用。它有很深的文化內(nèi)涵，表達(dá)的含義因文化而異。本文通過對非語言交際的體態(tài)語，環(huán)境語，副語言和客體語的跨文化對比，揭示中國和美國文化背景下非語言交際之間的差異，突出跨文化非語言交際的重要性，促進(jìn)中美跨文化交際的順利進(jìn)行。再者，研究非語言交際是外語教學(xué)中重要的一部分，了解它與外語教學(xué)之間的
