2、tepsofthewritingprocess,thentrytoknowtheproblemsexitingintheEnglishwritingandatlastanalyzetheeffectoftheSchemaTheoryinEnglishwriting.1TheWritingProcessAccordingtothe"four-step"processproposedbyPaulDacvies(1946),writingcanbedividedintofoursteps:first,thecollectionofinformationandviewsrelevantto
3、thesubject,andthediscardofunrelatedinformation;second,theorganizationofinformationandideasaccordingtoacertainlogicalorder;third,theformationofparagraphandthenthewholetext;atlast,themodificationofthefinaltext.Inthewholeprocessofwriting,writersneednotonlytopassivelyaccepttheinformationentered,bu
4、talsotore-organizewordsthroughcreativethinking,andreconstructnewinformationconsistentwithouroriginalknowledgestructureandtheinformationonehavehad.Duringthewritingprocess,theschemataareinteractingwiththeinputlanguageandtextualinformation(LiangHuimei&MengZhuhuan,2004).Generallyspeaking,thewritin
5、gprocesscanbedividedintothreeparts:theplanningprocess,theconversionprocessandthereviewprocess(YuShulin&HuangJianbin,2009).So,howhastheschematabeenappliedintheprocessofwriting?Whenwearewriting,accordingtothewritingtask,werecalltheschematarelatedtothetopicfromourmindsandleteachschemaenterintothe
6、writingprocess.Whenweareplanningthewriting,weapplytherelevantschematatoformthewritingprogram,whichmainlyindicatestheformalschemaandthecontentschemathatareusedtoformthetextualstructureandmaincontentsofthetext.Intheconversionprocess,wematchsomelinguisticschemataandformalschematatoexpressourthoug
7、htintheformoftext.Inthereviewprocess,wearemainlytocomparethetextwhichhasbeenwrittenoutwitheachschemaandafterthecomparisonrevisethetext,andfinallygetthefinaldraft.WecanconcludefromtheabovethatthewritingschemataareappliedineachstepoftheEn
