5、praisalTheory,putforwardbyMartinandotherscholarsin1990s,isacomplementforinterpersonalfunctioninSystemicFunctionalLinguistics.Thetheoryisappliedtoanalyzehowpeopleuselinguisticresourcestoexpresstheirattitudeandmakecommentsonthings.Threesubsystemsareinclude
6、dinAppraisalTheory:Attitude,engagementandgraduation.ThepresentstudytakesAttitudesystemastheframework,andanalyzesattitudinalresourcesinuniversitywebintroductions.Throughtheanalysis,itisfoundthattherearemanyattitudinalresourcesinuniversitywebintroductions.
7、ThethreesubsystemsofAttitudeCanallbefoundtohelpwritersfulfillthevocativefunctionofuniversitywebintroductions.HoweveLthefrequenciesofeachsystemarenotequal.Appreciationtakesupthelargestproportion,Judgementcomessecond,andAffectistheleast.AsforAppreciation,R
