2、rrespondingoffshoreoperations.Manynewlyemergedfacilitiesandoperationsconsistofmultiplefloatingbodies.Examplesincludetwo-bargefloat-overinstallationoftheplatformtopsideandFLNG(FloatingLiquefiedNaturalGas)offloading.Hydrodynamicinteractionbetweenmultiplebodiesisaverycomplexproblemandgreatlyaffec
3、tsthemotionresponsesandwaveforcesofthebodies,andunderstandingitisparticularlysignificantforsafeoperationsinpracticalengineering.Inthisthesis,hydrodynamicinteractionbetweentwoside-by-sideidenticalbargesinafloat-overinstallationisinvestigatedusingvarioustheoriesandresearchmethods,includingnumeri
4、calsimulationbasedontheconventionalpotentialflowtheoryandviscousflowtheory,modelteststudy,andthedampinglidmethodbasedonfairlyperfectfluid.Thehydrodynamicresonanceandfluidflowaroundthetwobargesaremainlydiscussed.Thehydrodynamicperformancesofthetwoside-by-sidebargeswitha3-mgaparefirstinvestigate
