3、e,debatesbeganandheadedintoNullificationCrisis.Graduallymoreconflictsgatheredtogether,andthewarbegan.Inaword,largelyinfluencedbytheIndustrialRevolution,theeconomyoftheNorthdevelopeddiverselyandmodernlywhiletheSouthmaintainedtradition,andthenpoliticalconflictsoc
4、curred,ofwhichtheexistenceofslaverywastheprimarycause,foreshadowingtheAmericanCivilWar.Significantlyandrapidly,theIndustrialRevolutiondevelopedmanufactureandfarming,whichwasknownastheMarketRevolution.Inthenortheast,industrializationincreasedrapidly.In1789,aBrit
5、ishinventorcalledSamuelSlaterimmigratedtoAmericaandreproducedBritishmachinerywhiletheBritishprohibitedthemachineryexportstoguardtheirinventions.Soon,textileproducerslearnthismethodsandreproducedmanycomplexmachines,soin1793,thefirstsuccessfulwaterpowertextilemil
6、lwasestablished.Until1814,hundredsoftextilemillsarosemostlyinPennsylvania,NewYork,andNewEngland,bringingenormousbenefits-money,jobopportunities.Also,in1813,FrancisCabotLowellbuiltthefirstcentralizedtextilemillinWaltham,Massachusetts.Lowellemployedyoung,unmarrie
